Weekly Faves

Weekly-FavesWelcome to this week’s Weekly Faves.  I hope all of you guys (or y’all – I do live in NC :)) had a good week!  Jerry wrote a great guest post for The Frugal Path this week, and I learned how to submit us for some blog carnivals.  I’m realizing I really should spend more time on the Yakezie forums, ha!  In any case, here are some of our favorite posts of the week from around the PF community.  I especially loved the summer trip ideas from Pauline @ RFI and John @ Frugal Rules, as I’m hoping to travel abroad this summer for the first time in seven years.

  1. Thanks so much for the mention Taylor! Glad you liked the post. Where are you planning on going? We’ve not been international, other than our cruise, for some time and we’re feeling the itch again.

      John,

My parents are going to be in Spain and France for a couple of weeks, so I’m hoping to go over there and meet them at some point. Fortunately I have an aunt who is a retired flight attendant, and I can get a “Buddy Pass” from her which cuts the cost of flying to Europe by about 75%. I’ll have to fly standby of course, but that doesn’t bother me a bit given the price discount :)

  2. Thanks for writing the guest post. It was awesome. Have a great weekend and enjoy planning out your trip.
